Yoga in Sanskrit term means to Unite, Coordinate, or Integration of the body, mind and spirit. Thus yoga in the true sense is not just Asanas or body postures but a science of healthy living. The eight limbs of Yoga (ashtang yoga) as stated by Maharshi patanjali are - Yama, Niyama, Aasana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dhyana, Dharana & Samadhi. These are not sequential steps but parts of overall Yoga practice. These should be practiced simultaneouly by a sadhak. A student can also focus on one of the stages to gain proficiency. For example Aasana, body posture, is a beginning for many. Practice of contemplation on divine thought via chanting, japa & meditation, along with Aasanas encompass a more holistic approach for practicing Yoga. This addresses the structural & hormonal imbalances, organic dysfunctions, and immune system disorders as well on regular practice./p>

Our philosophy is to take the student deeper into the true sense of Yogic Science and sincerely strive to make the students understand step by step. In the three months we learn the basic Asanas, Pranayama & Contemplation technique. We try to address the problems facing the younger generation of today with a very hectic life style.
